The Grell is one of the Underdark's most unsettling predators — a levitating brain with a hooked beak and a curtain of long, whip-like tentacles tipped with paralysing barbs. This sculpt from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures that alien menace with remarkable anatomical detail: the deeply folded cortex of the upper mass, the sharp beak nestled at the creature's centre, and the cascading tentacles that splay, coil, and branch into thorn-like points below. It floats in a naturalistic hunting pose, tentacles trailing as though drifting on an invisible current — all the more unsettling for how still it seems.

At 55mm tall, this is a commanding presence on any tabletop — noticeably larger than a standard humanoid mini, as it should be. Whether you're dropping it into an Underdark delve, a mind flayer-adjacent encounter, or a horror-themed dungeon, it reads immediately as a threat.
