Description

Where the ancient forest ends and the mortal world begins, the Green Knight stands vigil — antlers crowned with gnarled wood, sword drawn, ready to remind trespassers that some oaths are older than kingdoms.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This sculpt captures a figure that sits at the precise crossroads of the natural and the martial. The Green Knight Guardian wears layered armour worked with organic textures — bark-like pauldrons, fur-trimmed robes, and greaves traced with vine-like detailing — all beneath a cloak of dense feathered or scaled plumage that sweeps dramatically across the back. Above it all rises a rack of great stag antlers fused with twisted, branch-like growths, giving the character a silhouette unlike anything that belongs entirely to the mortal world.

The pose catches the Guardian mid-movement: wide-legged and grounded, both hands gripping a slender longsword extended across the body in a sweeping stance. There is nothing static about this miniature — every line of it communicates motion, threat, and an ancient authority. Front or rear, the sculpt rewards attention; the rear view in particular reveals the extraordinary detail work on that layered cloak, which would be a genuine pleasure to bring out with drybrushing and layered washes.

On the table, this miniature works across a remarkable range of roles. As a BBEG or encounter boss, the Green Knight Guardian carries the presence needed to stop a party in its tracks. As an NPC — perhaps a forest warden, a fey champion, or the physical embodiment of a druidic oath — it adds immediate weight to any scene set among ancient trees or at the borders of the Feywild. Adventurers looking to play a nature-touched fighter, a verdant paladin, or a unique ranger character will also find this sculpt serves that purpose with distinction.

  • Adventurers running Feywild encounters who need a guardian that feels genuinely otherworldly
  • Dungeon Masters building nature cults, druidic orders, or fey border conflicts
  • Players pursuing an antlered, armoured fighter or paladin concept
  • Painters who want a miniature with layered textures across armour, fur, feathers, and antlers
  • Collectors drawn to the intersection of natural and martial aesthetics

Encounter Hook

The party follows a wounded stag deep into the Thornwood, only to find it vanish at the roots of an impossibly ancient oak. As they examine the tree, the bark shifts — and the Green Knight Guardian steps free from the trunk itself, blade already drawn, its hollow amber eyes fixing on the party's ranger: "You carry iron into my grove. Explain yourself. Once."
