This is pose 02 of the Novaminis Green Hag range, and it captures the hag at her most theatrically malevolent. She lunges forward in a wide, low stance — bare feet bound with rope, tattered wrappings hanging from her gaunt frame — as she hoists a human skull overhead with a grip that speaks of genuine relish. Her mouth is thrown wide in a cackle, her long matted hair cascades down her back, and her free hand splays its curved talons at her side. Every line of the sculpt communicates someone who has won, and wants you to know it.
Green Hags in D&D 5e are Fey creatures of the darkest sort — manipulative, patient, and devastatingly intelligent. They haunt bogs and forgotten woodlands, spinning webs of corrupt bargains and feeding on the misery of those who trusted them. This sculpt translates that energy into something visceral and immediate: here is a hag not lurking in shadow, but revelling in the open. She works equally well as a coven leader, a lone swamp witch, a Feywild antagonist, or a memorably grotesque NPC whose laughter the party will remember long after the session ends. A rewarding subject for painters, with deep folds of loose skin, expressive facial detail, and strong silhouette on the display shelf.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a Green Hag for D&D 5e encounters, hag covens, or Feywild campaigns
- Want a characterful, dynamic villain miniature with immediate table presence
- Are building a swamp witch, dark fey, or corrupt bargainer NPC
- Enjoy detailed painting subjects with expressive faces and strong posework
- Collect display miniatures with genuine narrative weight
Encounter Hook:
The party tracks the source of a local curse to a clearing deep in the fen, where they find the hag standing over the scattered bones of the village elder she made a deal with three years ago. She hears them coming. She was expecting them. She raises the skull towards them, still laughing — and tells them she has something they want very much. She is not lying. That is the problem.
