The Greater Earth Elemental is one of the most imposing creatures a Dungeon Master can place on the battlemat. This sculpt by Mia Kay M3DM captures that raw geological mass with tremendous conviction — the figure is hunched low and coiled with barely-contained force, one enormous fist drawn back mid-charge. Its surface is a patchwork of cracked stone plates and smooth mineral flesh, as if tectonic forces are constantly reshaping it from within. The deep fissure lines across its body suggest something older than the mountains themselves.

Whether you're running an encounter in a dwarven undercroft, a planar rift to the Elemental Plane of Earth, or a druid's sanctum guarded by bound spirits of the land, this miniature brings genuine physical weight to the table. It works equally well as a wandering monster, a summoned guardian, or a boss encounter in its own right — and on the display shelf, it holds its own as a collector's centrepiece.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a large-scale elemental monster for D&D 5e or other TTRPG systems
  • Are building encounters around planar travel, earth temples, or nature-based dungeons
  • Want an imposing painting project with rich surface texture — the cracked stone detailing rewards careful drybrushing and washes
  • Are collecting elemental creatures for a themed display or complete set

Encounter Hook:
The party's map leads them into the lower vaults of an abandoned dwarven mine. The foreman's journal warned of something they disturbed in the deep seam — something that didn't leave. As they enter the final chamber, the rubble in the centre shifts, and a shape the size of a draft horse rises from the stone floor. It has no eyes, but it is absolutely looking at them.
