Daisuke Ushio is no mindless brute. This ox-headed warrior carries himself with the coiled restraint of a seasoned combatant — one hand resting on his hip, the other hoisting a formidable pole weapon over his broad shoulder. His silhouette is defined by swept-back horns, a mane of thick fur across his shoulders and chest, and layered armour that blends martial practicality with ornate eastern detailing: engraved tassets, scale-textured bracers, a decorative belt, and richly sculpted baggy trousers tucked into studded greaves. Every surface rewards a closer look.
Two variations of this sculpt are available. This listing shows the bovine-headed Daisuke in full — an ox folk warrior of unmistakeable presence — alongside an alternate human-faced version that offers a different character read for the same warrior archetype. Both share the same commanding stance and weapon, making them a coherent pair for DMs running a mercenary company or players choosing between character builds. The detailing on each is exceptional: fur texture, engraved armour panels, and a craggy cobblestone base all translate beautifully at 32mm scale.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a powerful Minotaur or ox folk Fighter, Barbarian, or Monk for their party
- Are building a samurai-influenced or far-eastern flavoured TTRPG campaign
- Want a formidable NPC warrior, bodyguard, or rival champion on the table
- Collect display-quality miniatures with standout sculpt depth
Encounter Hook:
The merchant caravan was found abandoned three miles from the city gate — every guard slain cleanly, no valuables taken. The only witness, a shaking stable hand, describes a lone figure in layered armour and a horned helm who walked through the escort without breaking stride. The city watch has a name: Daisuke Ushio. The city watch is not going to find him. Your party might have to.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and textured scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the two interact closely, so the base is strongly recommended for the best presentation. Suitable for painting or display straight from the box. Some minor clean-up of support marks may occasionally be needed; these are easily addressed.
