This is pose 02 of our Gray Slaad range, sculpted by Novaminis. Where pose 01 may stalk or lurch, this variant is caught mid-lunge — both arms thrown wide, each hand bristling with long, blade-like claws fanned out in a threat display that reads as raw, unhinged aggression. The wide-open maw exposes rows of jagged teeth, and every surface of the body is covered in warty nodules and bony spines that speak to the chaotic nature of Limbo's most unsettling inhabitants. One foot is raised mid-stride, giving the mini real momentum and menace on the tabletop. It's a grey slaad at the height of its fury — and your players will absolutely feel it when this hits the mat.
Grey slaadi are among the more dangerous of their kin — no longer bound to a host, they operate with a cunning intelligence that makes them unpredictable threats. This sculpt captures that volatile energy brilliantly, making it equally at home as a wandering Limbo encounter, a chaos cult enforcer, or the unexpected muscle behind a more powerful slaad's scheme. Whether you're running Descent into Avernus, a planar campaign, or a homebrew steeped in entropic horror, this mini will earn its place.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a physically imposing slaad for D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounters
- Are building a Limbo, Far Realm, or chaos-themed adventure arc
- Want multiple slaad variants on the table to distinguish individuals
- Collect and paint chaotic or aberrant creature miniatures for display
Encounter Hook:
The party's Detect Magic reveals a faint conjuration aura on the abandoned shrine — moments before a grey slaad tears through the door, claws spread wide, howling something in fragmented Slaadi that their warlock partially understands: it was promised them.
