Description

The earth shudders as the grey dragon rears upright, wings unfurled to blot out the sky, one claw raised and tail poised to strike — and the party realises, far too late, that they have walked into its lair.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a hulking, bipedal dragon sculpted at Huge size — towering over standard 32mm miniatures and commanding immediate attention on any tabletop. The sculpt captures the dragon mid-combat: both wings are flung wide with membrane detail stretching between bone-like fingers, the muscular body rears upright on powerful hind legs, and one forelimb is raised in a claw-swipe while the other holds the tail poised like a weapon. The head is crowned with a cluster of swept-back horns, the face fierce and forward-facing, and the armoured belly plates are rendered in chunky, layered scales. Deep surface texturing across the wings, flanks, and limbs gives painters a wealth of detail to bring out with washes and drybrushing.

This is a dragon built for drama. The rearing pose fills the tabletop with presence, making it an outstanding centrepiece for climactic encounters — or a striking addition to a display shelf. Painters will find the scale and detail rewarding, with distinct zones across wings, scales, and horned crest that respond beautifully to layered painting techniques.

This miniature is particularly well-suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a Huge-sized dragon for high-level D&D or Pathfinder encounters
  • Are building a dragon lair set piece or BBEG showdown
  • Want a large-scale display painting project
  • Prefer a grey or neutral-coloured dragon — easily painted as a blue, silver, or shadow dragon variant

Encounter Hook: The party descends into the flooded ruins of Kethavar's Reach, following rumours of a dragon cult siphoning power from a captive wyrm. They emerge into a vast vaulted chamber — and find the dragon is not captive at all. It rises from the shallows, wings shedding water like a storm, and the cult leader simply says: "We serve willingly."
