Description

The air turns to ash and cinders as the grey dragon rears back, wings spread wide, and releases a torrent of corrosive breath that turns stone to dust and heroes to legends — the wrong kind.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a dragon mid-breath — and the sculpt makes you feel every ounce of that moment. The grey dragon is depicted in a powerful crouched stance, body low and coiled with muscular tension, while its wings are thrown wide in that unmistakable display of territorial dominance. The head is thrust forward, jaws agape, with a dramatic cascade of breath weapon effect billowing from the maw — sculpted as a sweeping, flowing mass of destructive force that trails back across the creature's flank.

The detail work across the body is exceptional. Overlapping scale plates cover the chest and belly, transitioning to finer texture across the limbs and neck. The horns are multi-pronged and swept back, the claws are individually articulated, and the wing membranes show realistic vein and striation detail with subtle signs of wear along the edges. The tail curls behind with natural weight. This is not a static trophy pose — it is a creature caught in the full violence of an attack.

A second, smaller flying variant is included with this listing, showing the same dragon airborne in a diving posture — wings spread and claws reaching forward — giving Dungeon Masters the flexibility to represent the creature at range or in a swooping approach. The blue d20 visible in the render provides useful scale context for both versions.

Both sculpts are produced at huge scale — substantially larger than a standard 32mm mini — making them proper centrepiece creatures that dominate the table as they should.

Built for adventurers who:

  • Need a dramatic, high-detail dragon for a campaign climax or final boss encounter
  • Want to represent breath weapon attacks with a sculpt that captures the moment dynamically
  • Are looking for a large-scale display piece that rewards careful painting
  • Run dragon-heavy campaigns and want varied pose options for the same creature type
  • Collect Epic Miniatures' creature range and want their dragon represented at its most fearsome

Encounter Hook: The party has cornered the grey dragon in the ruins of a mountain citadel — or so they thought. As the fighter moves to strike, the beast drops low, wings snapping wide, and the distinctive burnt-metal taste hits the air a half-second before the breath comes. The Dungeon Master places this miniature at the centre of the map, jaws open, and every player at the table knows the initiative roll this round is the most important they've ever made.

Details

This listing includes two resin miniatures — the grounded breath attack pose and the airborne diving variant — both produced at huge scale. Supplied unpainted and unassembled if required. Suitable for all 28mm–32mm compatible base sizes for the smaller variant; the ground pose will suit a large or huge base depending on your preferred mounting approach. Surface detail is crisp and holds paint and wash beautifully.
