Gravus, the Immovable is a demon lord of rare and terrible patience. Where other fiends rage and tear, Gravus accumulates — power, tribute, souls — presiding over his court of hollow-eyed thralls with the languid cruelty of something that knows it cannot be toppled. The sculpt captures this magnificently: a vast, corpulent figure seated upon a throne of bone and stone, crowned in dark iron, wielding a skull-topped sceptre whilst gaunt servants fan him, offer fruit, and cling to his dais like moths to a corrupted flame. The base is littered with skulls and the remnants of those who served less ably. Every angle of this piece tells a story — including the rear, where the throne's horned and skeletal topper looms over the whole dreadful scene.
This is a centrepiece miniature in every sense. The level of compositional detail — multiple attendant figures, a skull-strewn base, the towering throne architecture — makes it as compelling on a display shelf as it is across the table from a party of adventurers who have just realised they are very badly outmatched. Printed at 35mm scale, Gravus commands the space he occupies.
A fine addition for adventurers who:
- Need a genuinely imposing demon lord for a campaign climax or infernal court encounter
- Are building an Abyss-themed dungeon, corrupted temple, or planar adventure arc
- Collect display pieces that reward being looked at from every angle
- Want a boss miniature that communicates threat through sheer presence rather than action
Encounter Hook:
The party was sent to negotiate. The room they are shown into contains forty skeletal attendants, a bowl of rotting fruit held by something that used to be a man, and Gravus himself — who does not look up when they enter, but smiles slowly and says, without raising his eyes: "I wondered when Aldric would send someone expendable."
Details
What's included:
Gravus, the Immovable is printed at 35mm scale. If you would prefer 32mm scaling, send us a message and we will adjust it for you. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note specifying which of the three base styles you would like. The base arrives separate and attaches easily. Supports are removed before dispatch; the nature of highly detailed multi-figure sculpts means minor marks are occasionally possible, but these are straightforward to clean up. The piece arrives fully cured and ready for priming and painting — or use it straight from the box.
