Graveyard Ghoul Crouching by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
It does not stand upright like a man — it hunches low over the disturbed earth, claws splayed, teeth bared, scenting the air for something fresher than what it already found.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Ghouls are not mindless shambling undead. They are cunning, fast, and driven by a hunger that never quiets. This crouching pose captures one mid-stalk — weight shifted forward, one knee raised, clawed hands reaching toward the ground as if it has just caught a scent beneath the soil. The tattered robes hang loose over a gaunt, wiry frame, and the expression is unmistakably predatory: brow furrowed, lips pulled back over jagged teeth, pointed ears flat against a bald skull. Bone fragments and grave debris litter the sculpted base, grounding the figure firmly in the churchyard it calls home.
Whether you are running a horror-tinged gothic campaign, populating a necromancer's lair with restless dead, or building a display shelf worthy of a second glance, this sculpt delivers the kind of character detail that rewards both the painter's brush and the collector's eye. The crouched pose also makes it a natural fit for tight dungeon corridors and crypt encounters where it would scuttle between the headstones before anyone knew it was there.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need ghoul encounters that feel genuinely unsettling, not just mechanically threatening
- Are building undead warbands, necromancer retinues, or graveyard-set encounters
- Want a miniature with enough expression and detail to reward careful painting
- Collect display-quality fantasy miniatures from independent sculptors
Encounter Hook:
Three nights running, the groundskeeper at St Aldric's has found a freshly interred coffin dragged halfway out of the earth — the lid clawed open from the outside, not the inside. Whatever opened it was not looking to get in.
Details
This miniature is printed at 32mm scale. The model comes attached to its sculpted base as a single piece, ready for priming and painting or use straight from the box. As with all hand-printed miniatures, minor surface imperfections may occasionally occur — any residual marks are easily tidied with light sanding. Each piece is fully cured before dispatch.
