Description
Something vast and chitinous drags itself from beneath the graveyard soil, its skull-faced upper body rearing high as claws spread wide — and every torch in the cemetery goes out at once.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Grave Centipede is a nightmarish fusion of the undead and the monstrous: a hulking, skeletal-headed fiend with curved demonic horns, overlapping chitinous armour across its broad torso, and a segmented, many-legged lower body coiled beneath it like a trap about to spring. Its clawed hands are raised mid-lunge, jaw agape in a silent roar — the kind of creature that belongs haunting desecrated burial grounds, crawling out of necromancer lairs, or acting as the twisted guardian of a cursed crypt. Whether you classify it as a fiend, an undead monstrosity, or something your party simply cannot categorise, it will leave an impression the moment it hits the table.
The sculpt is rich with surface detail — layered scale-like plating on the chest, articulated segments along the centipede body, and a skull face with genuine menace. Equally at home as a mid-campaign boss encounter or a showcase piece on a display shelf, this is a miniature that rewards both the painter and the Dungeon Master.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a large, distinctive monster for a graveyard, underdark, or necromancer encounter
- Want a centipede-type creature with serious visual presence and undead flavour
- Are building a painting project around layered chitin, bone tones, and dark armour
- Collect display pieces that genuinely look as threatening as they're meant to be
Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to retrieve a nobleman's body from a sealed family tomb — but when they break the wax seal, the tomb is empty, the floor is riddled with tunnels from below, and the distant scrape of a hundred legs echoes up through the dark. Whatever came up through that floor took the body. And it knows they're here.
Scaled to 32mm. The model with the detailed base comes as a single piece. The model with a plain base is supplied with the base detached for easy gluing. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or straight to the table as-is. Minor imperfections from the printing process are possible and can be cleaned up easily before painting.
