This is the second sculpt in Novaminis' Grand Sarcophagus series, and where the first takes a more traditional form, this variant leans into the brutally industrial — a broad, heavy-lidded chest bound with thick cylindrical bars, studded with rows of iron rivets, and adorned with etched flourishes and claw-tipped corner mounts. The lid is sculpted to open fully, revealing a hollow interior that adds both visual drama and practical storytelling weight to any scene. The surface texture throughout is hammered and worn, suggesting age, wealth, and the unmistakable suggestion that somebody — or something — was interred here with considerable ceremony.

Whether placed in the centre of a torch-lit mausoleum, positioned as the focal point of a lich's inner sanctum, or arranged in rows across a dungeon vault, this sarcophagus brings immediate atmosphere to any encounter space. The open-lid option is particularly useful for moments of dramatic reveal — the lid thrown wide, the interior disturbingly empty, and your players suddenly very interested in their surroundings.
