Gourd Smasher by Witchsong Miniatures
Description
Something enormous and wrong-shaped has been moving through the harvest fields at night, and the scarecrows are no longer standing where you left them.
- ✔ Display-scale miniature — larger than standard 32mm gaming scale
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Equally suited to display shelves and the gaming table
The Gourd Smasher is not a creature that belongs to any court of the Feywild you'd want to visit. This colossal entity towers atop a base swarming with gargoyle-like imps and bat-winged horrors, its vast pumpkin-form draped in tattered patchwork and crowned with a wide-brimmed witch's hat. In one outstretched arm it brandishes a gnarled bone staff topped with a hooked claw and a dangling skull charm — the kind of thing a hedge witch might dream about just before waking screaming. Every surface of this sculpt is alive with detail: scaled hide, layered cloth, and a base encrusted with skulls, pumpkins, and leering demonic faces clambering to get closer to whatever dark magic their master is channelling.
Details
This is a display-scale boss miniature — the kind of piece that earns its own shelf as much as it earns its place on the table. Whether you're dropping it into a Feywild campaign as the terror at the heart of a corrupted harvest festival, or building it as a centrepiece painting project, the Gourd Smasher commands attention from every angle.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a BBEG or boss encounter monster for a Feywild, autumn, or harvest-themed campaign arc
- Are running a Halloween-adjacent one-shot or spooky seasonal adventure
- Want a centrepiece display miniature that rewards detailed painting
- Collect large-scale fey and monster sculpts from independent artists
Encounter Hook:
The village of Ashenmere holds its harvest festival every year — but this year the carved pumpkins have started arranging themselves into a path leading north into the forest, and the festival elder hasn't been seen since sundown. The path ends in a clearing where something vast and crowned in twisted hat and bone-staff is already waiting, surrounded by dozens of grinning imp-things perched on the wreckage of what used to be the festival cart.
This is a display-scale miniature with an 80mm base — larger than standard 32mm fare, sized by the artist to read as a genuine boss-tier presence on the table. The base is supplied detached and can be fixed in place with adhesive. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming.
