Description

Whatever rested atop this pedestal has long since been taken — but the pedestal itself remains, its carved columns and leaf medallion hinting at a reverence that has not entirely faded.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This gothic pedestal is a richly detailed scatter terrain piece that earns its place in any scene that calls for ceremony, mystery, or a sense of forgotten grandeur. The sculpt features four fluted corner columns, a central carved medallion bearing a leafwork motif, and a lower arched niche with elaborate botanical relief work — the kind of stonework that suggests a temple, a mausoleum, a noble's private gallery, or something far older and stranger than any of those. The tiered base and stepped cornice give it genuine architectural weight, and the flat top surface makes it a natural platform for a relic, a scrying orb, a trapped artefact, or whatever your players are about to make a terrible decision about.

Available in two variants: one with a fully detailed decorative base, and one with a plainer base suited to integration into custom scenic builds. Both deliver the same level of carved surface detail.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a focal point for a temple, crypt, or sanctum encounter
  • Want scatter terrain that adds story as well as cover
  • Are building dioramas or display scenes with a gothic or classical aesthetic
  • Collect TTRPG terrain pieces alongside character miniatures

Encounter Hook:
The players have been told the Amulet of Unravelling sits on a pedestal at the heart of the Thornveil Mausoleum. What they were not told is that the pedestal itself is the puzzle — each carved panel a lock, each leaf in the medallion a key that must be pressed in the correct sequence before the item can be safely lifted. The rogue is already reaching for it.

Scaled to 32mm and supplied unpainted, ready for priming and painting or use straight from the box. The detailed variant comes as a single piece; the plain-base variant arrives with the base separate for easy assembly with a small amount of glue. Some minor surface marks from the print process are possible — these are easily tidied up during prep.
