This Gothic Candelabra Set from Mia Kay M3DM brings three atmospheric scatter terrain pieces to your tabletop — each one dripping with dark detail and gothic menace. The set includes a tall, imposing candelabra bristling with candles and hung with dangling chains, a skull-medallion centrepiece mounted mid-shaft giving it that unmistakable necromantic altar aesthetic. A slimmer, more elegant variant offers a quieter horror — fewer candles, same skull emblem, suitable for dressing corridors or side chambers. Completing the trio is a small cluster of melted candles pooled together on a wax-encrusted base, the sort of scatter piece that transforms an empty dungeon tile into a scene that tells a story.
All three pieces feature the same grim motif: iron-riveted bases, skull-and-sunburst medallions, and candle wax frozen mid-drip. Whether you prime them bone-white and drybrush in brass, or go full vampire-castle with verdigris copper and blood-red wax, these pieces reward careful painting and look the part even straight off the build plate.
Bring these to your table if you are:
- Running a Ravenloft or gothic horror campaign and need atmospheric dressing
- Building a vampire lord's throne room, undead crypt, or dark temple encounter space
- A hobbyist looking for detailed scatter that doubles as a display diorama piece
- Hunting for affordable terrain that fills a gaming table with character and narrative weight
Encounter Hook: The party has tracked the cultists to an abandoned manor house. As they push open the door to the inner sanctum, three tall candelabras blaze to life simultaneously — lit by no visible hand — and the skull-medallions at their centres begin to rotate slowly. Whatever dark ritual was interrupted here is not yet finished, and the candles have been waiting a long, long time for someone to return.
