Description
They heard it before they saw it — the slow, deliberate thud of knuckles on stone, then silence, then the whistle of a battle-axe through cold air.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This Gorillafolk Barbarian cuts an imposing figure: broad-shouldered and battle-worn, clad in leather armour strapped over a powerfully built frame, with a studded belt cinching a rough hide kilt at the waist. One massive hand trails a double-headed battle-axe nearly as wide as a dwarf, while a crossbody strap and layered bracers speak to a warrior who has survived enough fights to develop a few hard habits. The sculpt captures that particular gorilla stillness — not idle, not passive, but the coiled calm of something that could move very fast and choose not to. It reads as a frontline combatant who has learned that looking dangerous is often enough.
Whether you're fielding this as a Player Character — a Wildhunt barbarian from an isolated mountain clan, or a former arena fighter seeking freedom — or setting them up as a faction enforcer your party will have to either befriend or get through, this miniature brings a strong, distinctive presence to the table. Equally at home in a display cabinet alongside other beast-folk sculpts, the detail in the fur texture, the armour buckles, and the axe blade all reward a careful paint job.
A fine choice for adventurers who:
- Are playing a beast-folk or gorillafolk barbarian character
- Need a memorable NPC — a tribal champion, a pit fighter, or a hulking bodyguard
- Want a powerful humanoid combatant with a distinctive silhouette on the battlemap
- Enjoy painting fur textures, leather armour, and large statement weapons
- Are building a collection of beast-folk or monstrous player character miniatures
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a border checkpoint to find it abandoned — except for one figure standing in the middle of the road, axe resting on a shoulder, watching them approach. He doesn't move. He doesn't speak first. His name is Gorruk Half-Chain, and the warlord who sent him has already been paid. Whether the party can change that arrangement in the next sixty seconds is entirely up to them.
