Description

The ground trembles before you see it — hooves like iron hammers, hide like overlapping plate armour, and a ridge of bone spikes running the length of its spine.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

In D&D 5e, the Gorgon is no ordinary beast. It is a creature of living iron, its body encased in interlocking metal-like scales, its breath a petrifying cloud of emerald gas. This Gorgon 01 sculpt by Novaminis captures that dreadful bulk with remarkable fidelity — overlapping armoured hide segments layered across a powerful, lowered frame, nodular growths clustered around a broad, scarred face, and a single sweeping horn jutting forward in a charge pose. A ridge of jagged bone spikes runs from crown to haunches, and the legs are ringed with rounded, stone-like protrusions that speak to something ancient and barely natural.

This is the first pose in the Novaminis Gorgon range — a forward-leaning, mid-charge stance that puts the sheer mass of this creature front and centre on the battlefield mat. Whether you're running a wandering encounter on the Iron Plains or placing a guardian beast in a Construct-heavy dungeon, this miniature commands the table. It holds equal presence on a display shelf, where the sculptural detail of each armour panel rewards close inspection and a careful paint job.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a large, imposing Monstrosity or Construct-adjacent threat for mid-to-high level encounters
  • Want a centrepiece beast for a plains, wasteland, or ancient ruin encounter
  • Are building a collection of Novaminis monsters with character
  • Enjoy detailed painting projects with layered textures — armour plates, nodular hide, and bone spikes all reward different techniques

Encounter Hook:
The iron mines east of Duskwall have gone silent — no messengers, no supply carts, no smoke from the smelting chimneys. When the party investigates, they find the entrance hall intact but every miner turned to grey stone, frozen mid-step. Then the floor begins to shake.
