The Goose Hydra is what happens when something ancient and wrong decides to wear a familiar shape. With four serpentine goose necks twisting in different directions, webbed taloned feet planted wide, and a pair of broad feathered wings stretched to full span, this creature occupies that deeply unsettling space between mundane and monstrous. It stands 23mm tall — deceptively compact for something so chaotic — and the sculpt captures each head mid-shriek, bills agape, necks coiling around one another in a writhing mass of avian fury.
For Dungeon Masters, this is a creature that works equally well as a corrupted nature spirit, a Feywild abomination, or simply the most threatening thing ever encountered near a canal. For collectors, it's an extraordinary centrepiece — chaotic, detailed, and utterly unlike anything else on a display shelf.
A fine choice for adventurers who:
- Run encounters in wetlands, cursed farmlands, or Feywild-adjacent wilderness
- Want a memorable and deeply unsettling Boss Monster on the table
- Collect unusual and lore-rich creature sculpts
- Are building a nature-corrupted or aberrant beast encounter
- Appreciate miniatures that prompt genuine confusion from the party before the dread sets in
Encounter Hook:
The village elder swore the creature guarding the mill pond was just a large goose. She said this three times, each time a little less certain. When the party arrives at dawn, four sets of eyes rise from the water simultaneously — and the honking that follows sounds nothing like any bird they have ever heard.
Scaled to 32mm and supplied unpainted, ready for priming and painting or for use straight from the box. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be secured with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor imperfections from the printing process may occasionally occur; any residual marks are easily tidied up before painting.
