Petri is not a man who makes quiet entrances. This Goliath pirate cuts a commanding figure — long-haired and broad-shouldered, his ornately embroidered coat split at the waist to show the floral detailing beneath, a pistol or flask hanging at his belt. His arm is raised high, gauntleted fist extended, as a large eagle — wings fully spread, talons gripping — lands with theatrical authority. There is no threat in his posture, only absolute confidence: the kind that comes from knowing the sea, the wind, and the bird all answer to you.
The sculpt balances two very different energies — the raw physicality of a Goliath warrior and the flamboyant flair of a seafaring rogue. The floral embroidery on his coat is extraordinarily fine for this scale, and the eagle's feathers are rendered with real depth and movement. Whether you're painting him up as a charismatic Bard captain, a Ranger with a raptor companion, or a Rogue who's earned a fearsome reputation across the open sea, Petri rewards careful brushwork at every layer.
As a multipart sculpt, he's available with or without a plain base — choose whichever suits your basing style.
Adventurers who'll love this mini:
- Rangers building a naval campaign with a loyal animal companion
- Bard or Rogue players looking for a charismatic, larger-than-life captain
- Dungeon Masters running a pirate-themed arc or seafaring one-shot
- Painters who enjoy working fine detail into clothing and feathered textures
- Collectors wanting a display piece that tells a story at a glance
Encounter Hook: The party's ship is boarded — not by attackers, but by a lone Goliath who drops onto the deck from above, eagle circling overhead, and simply announces that he is joining the crew. He has already read the charts in the captain's cabin. He has very detailed opinions about the route.
