Description

The party thought it was just another chest — until the pebbled bulk of the thing rose to its feet, eyes glowing from within the wooden lid, and drew a blade.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Treasure Golem is a gloriously devious construct — part mimic, part bruiser, entirely dangerous. Sculpted by MZ4250, this miniature captures everything that makes the creature so memorable at the table: a massive, cobblestone-textured body that speaks of ancient earth magic, a wooden chest fused in place of a head with those unsettling glowing eyes peering out, and a broad sword carried with the casual menace of something that has never once been afraid of anything. It's the kind of sculpt that makes players second-guess every dungeon prop from that point forward.

The surface detail throughout is exceptional — the pebbled skin texture catches light beautifully whether you're painting it or running it straight out of the box. It works brilliantly as a solo boss encounter, an animated guardian set loose by a paranoid dungeon architect, or simply a centrepiece for your display shelf that earns a story the moment someone notices what the head actually is.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Run dungeon-crawl campaigns where the traps are a little more proactive than usual
  • Want a construct mini that doubles as a conversation piece on any display shelf
  • Love painting textured organic surfaces with dry-brushing or contrast techniques
  • Need a memorable boss encounter that subverts player expectations from the first glance

Encounter Hook:
The treasure room at the heart of the vault is filled with chests — seventeen of them, all identical, all motionless. The artificer's notes say there is one among them that cannot be opened. As the rogue reaches for the nearest latch, one of the chests in the far corner slowly, deliberately, stands up.
