Description

Shaped from river clay and bound by ancient arcane rites, it has stood vigil for centuries — and tonight, something has finally woken it.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The clay golem is one of the most iconic constructs in fantasy roleplaying — a hulking, flesh-like creation that is neither truly alive nor simply inert. This sculpt by MZ4250 captures the creature at its most threatening: mouth open in a bellowing roar, one massive fist raised overhead and the other clenched at its side, every inch of its thick, textured body radiating unstoppable momentum. The surface detail is superb — rough, uneven skin that reads as packed clay, heavy limbs built for smashing rather than finesse, and a broad, flat-featured face that carries just enough expression to be deeply unsettling.

Whether you're placing it as a dungeon guardian set loose by a mage's failed contingency, or running it as a slow-but-relentless boss encounter, this miniature has the presence to make your players genuinely nervous. It works equally well as a display piece — painted up in earthen tones, it would look tremendous on a shelf alongside other constructs or arcane-themed minis.

A solid choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a menacing construct encounter for their D&D 5e or TTRPG campaign
  • Are building an arcane laboratory, wizard's sanctum, or ancient vault on the tabletop
  • Want a centrepiece monster with real physical presence at the table
  • Collect and paint fantasy miniatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The players have been hired to retrieve a spellbook from a long-abandoned tower. The library is intact — so is the golem that was created to protect it. It has been waiting 200 years for someone to try.
