This is Golem 01 from Mia Kay M3DM's range — a towering armoured construct clad in ornate, segmented plate that speaks of a craftsperson with both skill and ambition. The sculpt captures the golem mid-stance, arms folded across its broad chest in a posture that reads less as passive and more as a deliberate warning. The plumed helmet, layered pauldrons, and engraved breastplate suggest this is no crude iron-and-clay construct — this is something commissioned by someone powerful, built to last, and left behind when that power crumbled. A deeply textured rubble base anchors the piece and adds to the sense of a guardian holding its ground.
Whether you're placing this at the entrance to a lich's inner sanctum, deploying it as an encounter-ending boss monster in a dungeon crawl, or painting it for your display shelf, the sculpt carries the weight and presence a proper golem demands. The detailing rewards careful painting — the armour panels offer clean surfaces for OSL effects or verdigris weathering, and the crested helm makes for a distinctive silhouette on the tabletop.
A fine choice for adventurers who:
- Need a formidable Construct guardian for their D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounters
- Are building encounters in ancient ruins, wizard towers, or planar vaults
- Want a centrepiece miniature that holds its own on a display shelf
- Enjoy painting armoured figures with strong panel definition and intricate detail
Encounter Hook:
The party enters the vault expecting traps — instead, the figure in the corner turns. Its eyes illuminate a deep amber. It does not speak. In one hand it holds a sealed iron box. The vault's last master left one final instruction: deliver this to no one.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model on the detailed base comes as a single piece. The plain base variant is detached and can be affixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed prior to despatch; as with all hand-finished prints, minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up before priming.
