The Golden Griffin Vanguard is a knight of an elite martial order, and every inch of this sculpt tells that story. His full plate armour is layered in overlapping feather-like scales, swept pauldrons rise at his shoulders, and a finely detailed winged crest crowns his close-faced helm. He carries himself with the stillness of a soldier who has long since stopped needing to prove anything — sword tip grounded, stance at rest, but coiled with readiness. The sculpt captures both the ceremonial dignity of a sworn guardian and the undeniable menace of someone who knows exactly how to use that blade.
Turn him around and the detail continues — cross-strapped backplate, articulated greaves with swept fin accents at the ankle and knee, and scale-textured thigh plates that speak to the craftwork of a master armourer. This is a character who belongs at the gate of a king's inner sanctum, or standing between your party and whatever horror lies beyond.

Encounter Hook:

Whatever is inside that citadel, the Vanguard was told never to let anyone through — and he has not broken an oath yet.

Supplied at 32mm scale with a separate decorative cobblestone base, which fits snugly with a drop of superglue. The base complements the pose well and is worth attaching. Arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or ready to use as is — minor marks from the printing process are possible and easily tidied up.
