Goblin Warrior 08 is the eighth entry in Novaminis' characterful goblinoid warband series, and it brings three distinct variants of the same wiry, wild-eyed combatant — each capturing a different moment in the chaos of a goblin skirmish. One stands defiantly with a round shield at the ready, claws flexed and grinning with far too much confidence. Another launches into a full-bodied sword attack, arm raised overhead, shield braced, teeth bared in a battle cry that could only come from a creature completely unbothered by odds. The third variant — and the one that will absolutely delight your players — is a prone, face-down goblin, helmet askew, claws splayed in defeat. That fallen token alone is worth the price of entry.

Each sculpt is full of the expressive, slightly grotesque energy that Novaminis does so well. The warriors wear studded belts, layered hide armour, and chunky boots — practical goblinoid kit for creatures who've learned the hard way what keeps you alive in a scrap. The wild-feathered topknots give them a tribal swagger that suits a warband on the march. The detail on the belts and armour plates is crisp and painter-friendly, with enough surface area to take washes and drybrushing beautifully.
