Description
Every warband needs someone to keep the stew hot — and this goblin hasn't risen to Head Chef by sharing his recipes.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Rotund, self-important, and carrying what appears to be a small cauldron and a suspicious gemstone, the Goblin Tribe Chef cuts a memorable figure on the tabletop. He wears a battered flat cap and a layered tunic cinched with a belt, his ragged clothing suggesting someone who spends more time near a fire than in a fight. His expression is one of smug confidence — the look of a goblin who knows exactly what he has and is not inclined to share it.
The sculpt captures a genuinely character-rich goblin archetype: not a warrior, not a shaman, but a specialist — the kind of creature who holds surprising sway in a tribe because everyone needs to eat. The cauldron hanging from one hand and the trinket raised in the other give him an almost theatrical quality, as though mid-announcement of tonight's menu or mid-negotiation over his most prized possession.
Whether you're building out a goblin warband with personality to spare, running a low-level encounter with more intrigue than combat, or simply want a distinctive NPC that adventurers will actually remember, this miniature earns its place at the table. Painters will find plenty to work with — the layered cloth, the cauldron's surface, the expressive face — making this a rewarding project for both quick tabletop paint jobs and more detailed display work.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Want a memorable, non-combat goblin NPC for their warband or village
- Are building out a goblin settlement encounter with distinct personalities
- Love painting character-rich, expressive faces and textured cloth
- Collect goblinoid miniatures across a range of roles and archetypes
- Enjoy display pieces that tell a story without a weapon in each hand
Encounter Hook
The party tracks a series of food thefts from outlying farms to a goblin camp in the Thornwood. Rather than a fight, they find a rotund chef holding court over a fire, loudly insisting that what he "acquired" was simply ingredients going to waste. He has information about the hobgoblin war camp to the north — but he'll only trade it for a specific spice the party will have to retrieve. Combat is, he makes clear, very bad for the flavour.
