Description

Nobody expected the ambush to begin with music — but then, nobody expected the goblin in the wide-brimmed hat.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Goblin Bard, pose 1 from The Toadstool Weaver's range — and what a way to open the set. Clad in studded leather armour buckled down the front, bare-footed and entirely unbothered, this goblin stands with a wooden flute raised to their lips mid-performance. Whether they're charming a crowd, signalling an ambush with a melody only their kin understand, or simply auditioning for the worst tavern act in the Underdark, the sculpt captures a goblin with far more confidence than any goblin has any right to possess.

The wide-brimmed traveller's hat gives this bard an unmistakable silhouette — part wandering minstrel, part chaotic menace. Alongside a pack slung over one shoulder, the detail work on the armour and the naturalistic bare feet roots the character firmly in a grounded, slightly grimy fantasy world. This is a goblin who has been places, seen things, and absolutely has an angle.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a charismatic goblin NPC to unsettle the party
  • Are running a Bard PC and want a goblin equivalent on the table
  • Love painting characterful humanoid miniatures with expressive poses
  • Want a focal piece for a goblin warband with a bit more personality
  • Collect display miniatures from independent fantasy artists

Encounter Hook:
The goblin bard has been hired to play at the village harvest festival — but the party's Perception check reveals the tune he keeps returning to is the same three-note phrase, repeated every few minutes, in the direction of the treeline. Someone, or something, is listening.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale, this miniature is well-suited to both gaming use and display collecting. It is available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. The miniature arrives support-free and fully cured, ready for priming and painting or straight to the table as-is. As with any hand-finished piece, minor surface marks can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up.
