Description

Something ancient stirs at the forest's edge — a figure that bleats where it should speak, and speaks where it should be silent, its skull-crowned staff trailing smoke from a world the living were never meant to see.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Goat Necromancer is one of those rare sculpts that stops adventurers mid-sentence. Equal parts unsettling and darkly compelling, this bipedal goat-headed spellcaster stands in a low, purposeful crouch, one clawed hand raised as though mid-incantation, the other gripping a towering twisted staff adorned with a dangling skull bound in sinuous, smoky tendrils. The dense, textured fleece covering the body contrasts with those hollow eye sockets and curling horns to create something that feels genuinely folkloric — less dungeon monster, more ancient woodland deity gone very, very wrong.

Whether you're running a Feywild campaign where the boundaries of death are more negotiable than your players expect, or a dark fantasy arc in which a necromantic cult is led not by the expected lich but by something far stranger, this miniature carries the weight of a truly memorable antagonist. It works equally well as an unsettling NPC shaman, a boss monster for a mid-tier encounter, or a wildly original player character for adventurers who love to unsettle the party.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a genuinely distinctive necromancer villain or cult leader for a dark fantasy campaign
  • Are running Feywild, folk horror, or wilderness-adjacent story arcs
  • Want a player character miniature that no one else at the table will have
  • Collect display pieces that sit somewhere between unsettling and breathtaking
  • Enjoy painting highly textured sculpts with rich detail to reward layered techniques

Encounter Hook:
The village's sheep have been disappearing for weeks — but last night, old Margret swore she saw one of them walking upright through the fog, carrying a staff, and muttering in a voice that made the earth beneath her feet go cold. The trail leads into the Thornwood, and whatever waits there has been expecting the party since before they left the inn.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. The model and decorative base are provided as separate pieces and can be attached with a drop of superglue — note that some sculpts in this range are designed to interact with their base, so the base is recommended for the best presentation. Minor support marks are possible as part of the printing process and are easily cleaned up prior to painting.
