Mia Kay's Gnome Wizard is a charming and characterful sculpt that captures the classic image of a small-statured arcanist with an enormous hat and an even bigger confidence. This listing includes two distinct poses: the first shows her mid-cast, one fist raised and body twisting with arcane energy; the second has her referencing her rune-covered spellbook, eyes scanning the page with scholarly focus. Both share the same curly-haired face, layered robes with a sash belt, and that gloriously rope-knotted conical hat — each bringing a different mood to the tabletop.
Whether she's a gnome illusionist who talks her way out of more fights than she wins, a mentor figure hiding a dangerous secret, or a wild magic sorcerer who swears she has everything under control, these sculpts carry that blend of warmth and mischief that makes gnome characters so memorable in any campaign.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are playing a gnome wizard, sorcerer, or sage-type character
- Need a distinctive NPC scholar, court mage, or eccentric quest-giver
- Want two poses of the same character for different scenes or game moments
- Are building a display collection of well-sculpted spellcaster minis
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the Thornwick Academy of Arcane Letters to find the head librarian — a gnome woman in a preposterous hat — has locked herself inside the restricted stacks. She'll only open the door if someone can answer three questions about conjuration theory. She already knows they can't. She has backup plans for all outcomes. She is having a wonderful time.
Details
This miniature is printed at 32mm scale. The scenic base is included and arrives detached for easy transport, ready to be affixed with a spot of glue. The sculpt is supplied in unprimed grey resin, ready for priming and painting — or display as-is for those who appreciate the raw detail of a well-rendered sculpt. As with all hand-supported resin prints, minor surface marks are possible; any remnants are straightforward to tidy up before painting.
