Pepitos the Manic is the Professor of the Arcane from DM Stash's Bastion of the Wandering Mage collection, and this sculpt captures everything a gnome wizard should be: chaotic, brilliant, and utterly unaware that anyone finds him alarming. He stands perched atop a precarious tower of grimoires and leather-bound tomes, one foot raised mid-stride as if he just remembered something tremendously important and is already late. His wide-brimmed witch's hat lists to one side above a magnificent bushy beard, his travelling cloak billows outward mid-motion, and his wand is thrust skyward with the confidence of a caster who has absolutely never misfired. Not once. He would like that on the record.

The stacked-book base is integral to the sculpt and tells its own story — this is a man whose library followed him, not the other way around. Whether you're painting every spellbook spine a different colour or keeping the whole piece in moody monochrome, this miniature rewards the detail-focused painter. It also earns its place on any shelf as a display piece in its own right.

A fine addition for adventurers who:

  • Need a gnome wizard PC — Pepitos suits any Wizard or Sorcerer build with serious academic leanings
  • Want a memorable quest-giver, eccentric ally, or rival arcane scholar for their campaign
  • Are building out a magical academy, arcane institution, or wandering mage's tower as a setting
  • Collect display-worthy character miniatures with strong narrative presence

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the Bastion of the Wandering Mage to retrieve a stolen spell component — only to find Pepitos already three steps ahead of them, standing atop his tower of books in the middle of the courtyard, wand aloft, mid-incantation, apparently shouting instructions at a flock of enchanted quills. He does not look up. "You're late," he says. "The ritual started six minutes ago and I needed someone to hold page four hundred and twelve."

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and its decorative stacked-book base are separate pieces and bond cleanly with superglue — and given how much the sculpt interacts with the base, we'd strongly recommend using it as intended. Some minor support marks may be present from the printing process; these are easily tidied up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brush.
