Gnome Engineer Zollie by DnD Is A Woman

Zollie is a gnome engineer who radiates the quiet confidence of someone who has built her way out of every problem she's ever faced. She stands in a relaxed but deliberate pose, a hooded lantern hanging from one hand while the other rests on the head of her seated canine companion — a sturdy, broad-shouldered dog decked out in articulated plate armour, bolted and riveted across its back and flanks. The hound sits alert at her side, muzzle slightly open, clearly as ready for trouble as its handler.

Zollie herself is dressed for the field rather than the workshop: layered tactical clothing with studded belt, shoulder pauldrons, and practical boots tell the story of an engineer who goes where her machines go. Her hair is swept up in twin buns, and her expression carries a dry, capable intelligence — the look of someone who has already done the calculations and liked the odds. Details like the rivets on her belt, the mechanical fittings on her companion's armour, and the fine lattice of the lantern cage reward close attention and give painters a rich surface to work with.

This is a multipart miniature, giving you flexibility with assembly and base choice — choose from a plain base or no base, depending on your project.

Zollie works equally well as a player character on the table or a conversation-starting piece on the display shelf. She suits artificer builds, inventor archetypes, beast-bonded rangers, and any campaign where ingenuity counts for more than brute force.

Adventurers who love this miniature tend to be:

• Artificer or Ranger players wanting a mechanically-flavoured character sculpt with a loyal animal companion
• Dungeon Masters building steampunk, Eberron, or arcane-technology encounters
• Painters drawn to layered armour, mechanical textures, and detailed leatherwork
• Collectors who appreciate character pieces with genuine personality and story in a single pose

Encounter Hook: The party arrives at the site of a collapsed mine entrance — the only survivor waiting outside is a calm gnome woman with a lantern and an armoured dog. She introduces herself as Zollie, explains that she designed the mine's ventilation system, and adds, almost as an aside, that she also knows exactly why it failed. Whether she's an ally, a contractor, or a suspect depends entirely on how the conversation goes.
