Description
He's been trudging through the frost for three days, and whatever is on that sledge, he's not telling — not yet.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This characterful gnome cuts a wonderfully eccentric figure: a stout, broad-bellied fellow in a buttoned coat, his tall pointed hat tipped back at a self-satisfied angle, hauling a wooden sledge behind him with quiet determination. The sculpt captures the gnome's enormous ears, a full bushy beard, and an expression that sits somewhere between contentment and mild mischief — the look of someone who knows far more than they're letting on. The sledge itself is beautifully detailed, with individual wooden slats and rope bindings that reward a careful paint job.
Whether you place him at a winter market stall, a crossroads deep in a snow-covered forest, or trudging into the party's campfire light with an offer they probably shouldn't accept, this miniature brings enormous personality to a tabletop encounter. He's equally at home in a Feywild setting — perhaps a gnomish emissary of some frosty archfey — or simply as a beloved recurring NPC who always seems to show up at the most inconvenient moments.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable winter or Feywild NPC with real character
- Want a gnome quest-giver, wandering merchant, or mysterious stranger
- Are building a festive or cold-weather themed encounter or display scene
- Love painting characterful humanoid miniatures with expressive faces and textured detail
Encounter Hook:
The party spots a stout gnome dragging a heavily laden sledge across a frozen lake at dusk. He waves cheerfully and refuses to answer any questions about what's under the rope-bound cover — but offers each of them a coin if they'll help him get it to the village before the ice cracks. Three goblins are already following him from the far bank, and they don't look friendly.
This miniature is scaled to 32mm and comes unpainted, primed and ready for painting or display straight out of the box. The model and base (if the base option is selected) are supplied as separate pieces and can be joined with a small amount of glue. Some models interact with their bases in ways that genuinely enhance the scene, so the decorative base option is worth considering.
