Description
He's been chopping wood in these forests longer than your party has been alive — and his sleepy eyes have seen far stranger things than a band of adventurers asking questions.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This stocky gnome woodcutter cuts a quietly charismatic figure: tall conical hat, an enormous flowing beard, and a well-worn hand axe held loosely at his side. A wicker basket loaded with freshly cut timber is strapped to his back, giving him the unmistakable air of someone who does an honest day's work — and knows every inch of the woodland that surrounds him. His expression sits somewhere between drowsy and knowing, as though he's heard every rumour that passes through the village and simply chooses not to share.
Whether he's a retiring Feywild sage who once adventured alongside legends, a forest-dwelling quest-giver with a peculiar favour to ask, or simply the gnome who chops wood near the dungeon entrance and notices far more than he lets on, this sculpt has the character depth to anchor a memorable encounter. Equally at home on the gaming table or a display shelf alongside a painted forest diorama.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a gnome NPC with genuine presence and a lived-in look
- Are running Feywild, forest, or rural village encounters
- Want a character who could be hiding arcane secrets behind a very ordinary occupation
- Are building a painted display piece or NPC roster for their campaign
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a fey creature through an ancient wood for two days. On the edge of a small clearing, they find a gnome quietly stacking firewood — humming to himself — with a trail of frost-touched footprints leading directly past his cottage. He smiles when he sees them. He was wondering when they'd arrive.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces, easily attached with a small amount of glue — and this sculpt genuinely benefits from its base, so the base option is well worth selecting. The miniature arrives cleaned of supports and fully cured, ready for priming and painting or for use straight from the box. Minor surface marks from the print process are rare but possible and easily tidied up.
