Description

The skulls lashed to the tent poles aren't a warning — they're a welcome mat.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

Gnoll war-bands don't make camp so much as they claim territory, and this hide tent is every inch a gnoll's domain. Rough-hewn wooden poles are bound together with gut-rope and topped with a crossed pair of skulls — trophies from a raid that ended badly for someone else. The scraped-hide canopy is stitched along its edges with crude sinew lacing, staked into the ground at an angle that suggests the whole thing could be packed up and moved the moment the pack catches a new scent. Every surface tells a story of something hunted, killed, and used.

This is scatter terrain rather than a character piece, but it earns its place on the table. Drop it into a wilderness hex, a desert ravine, or a blighted grassland and the encounter location writes itself. It scales naturally alongside 32mm gnoll miniatures and adds genuine atmosphere to any gnoll warband encounter — or to a display shelf where you're building out a full raider camp scene.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Are building gnoll encounter set-pieces or warband camp scenes
  • Want scatter terrain that reads instantly as hostile and monstrous
  • Are running wilderness, desert, or plains-based D&D campaigns
  • Collect and paint creature-specific environmental pieces

Encounter Hook:
The party's tracker finds the gnoll camp before dawn — three tents arranged around a cold fire-pit, skulls perched on each pole, and fresh drag-marks in the dirt leading toward the treeline. The pack is still out there. It hasn't finished hunting.
