The laughing had stopped by the time the party crested the ridge — replaced by the slow, rhythmic clank of a chained blade dragging through the dust, and the silhouette of something far too large to be just another gnoll.

This is Pose 01 of the Gnoll Alpha range by Novaminis, and it earns that title. This is not a rank-and-file gnoll raider — this is the beast that leads the pack. Crowned with a trophy skull helm and curved horns, wrapped in a tattered hide cloak that billows like a war banner, the Alpha strides forward with a broad-bladed glaive hanging from a heavy chain in one hand and bone-spiked armour coating the other arm. Matted, bead-adorned dreadlocks spill from beneath that grim helm, framing a snarling muzzle mid-growl. Every detail reads as earned in blood — this is a creature that has survived a hundred ambushes by being the most dangerous thing in them.

The sculpt rewards painters generously: the layered textures across the cloak, the knotted rope bindings at the legs, the studded pauldron, and the chain link detailing on the weapon all offer distinct surfaces to work with. Equally at home anchoring a gnoll warband encounter on the tabletop or commanding a display shelf.

It is not alone. It is simply the only one that wanted to be seen.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any leftover support marks are easily tidied up before priming.
