The laughing had stopped by the time the party crested the hill — replaced by the rhythmic crack of a spiked flail against a wagon wheel, and the low, guttural snarl of something that hadn't eaten in two days.

This is Gnoll 05 from Yasashii Kyojin Studio — a hulking, bipedal hyena-kin rendered in a charging battle stance that radiates raw menace. The sculpt captures every savage detail: a wide-open maw baring fang and fury, bone-studded leather armour bristling with outward-facing spikes, and a wild mohawk-like crest of coarse fur that speaks to pack hierarchy. The cloak — little more than a tattered pelt, ragged at the edges — trails behind as the gnoll surges forward, one foot raised mid-stride.
That flail demands attention. The haft is studded along its length, and the head is a brutal iron sphere ringed with long, angular spikes — held aloft in a two-handed grip that leaves no doubt about intent. From the front, the gnoll's open-jawed roar fills the silhouette. From the side and rear, the full sweep of the pose reads clearly: this creature is mid-charge, committed to the kill. A short dagger sits tucked at the belt — backup plan for when the flail swing inevitably connects.
Whether you're statting this up as a gnoll war chief, a Yeenoghu cultist, or a wandering fang of the Shoosuva pack, this sculpt carries enough character detail to anchor an entire encounter around it. Equally at home on a display shelf as on a battle grid.
A good fit for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding gnoll mini that reads clearly at the table from every angle
- Are building a gnoll warband, raiding party, or Yeenoghu-themed encounter
- Want a statement display piece for their monster collection
- Enjoy painting expressive creature faces and complex armour textures
Encounter Hook:
The merchant guild's missing caravan has been found — or what remains of it. At the centre of the wreckage stands a single gnoll, spiked flail resting on one shoulder, surrounded by the bones of those who resisted. It hasn't fled. It's waiting to see if the party is worth the effort.
