This is the third sculpt in our Gnoll range from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it showcases three distinct, action-packed poses that capture the raw ferocity these hyena-headed raiders are infamous for. The first variant crouches low with a bound spear in one hand, the other arm thrust skyward — head thrown back in a snarling battle cry, every muscle coiled for the charge. The second variant holds that same heavy spear in a wide, sweeping low stance, hackles raised, reading the battlefield with terrifying focus. The third stands wide-legged and open-chested, one clawed arm raised and one extended along the spear shaft, draped in a feathered cloak — the look of a warband leader who has already decided how this fight ends.

Each pose is sculpted with exceptional anatomical detail: layered wrappings at the shins, worn fabric skirting at the waist, and the characteristic mane of coarse fur along the spine and neck. The weaponry is equally well-realised — a bone-and-cord-wrapped spear that speaks of a culture built on scavenged trophies and hard-won kills. Whether you're running a gnoll warband encounter, building out a humanoid monster roster, or adding display-worthy character to your collection shelf, these three poses offer real visual variety.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need gnoll warriors with dynamic, varied poses for encounter variety
  • Are building humanoid monster warbands for D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
  • Want highly detailed, characterful minis for painting projects and display
  • Are DMs running wilderness raids, desert ambushes, or Yeenoghu-cult storylines

Encounter Hook:
The party crests a ridge to find the smouldering wreckage of a merchant convoy — and three gnolls standing in the road, spears levelled, already laughing. From the gully below comes the sound of many more.

Sculpted at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Each miniature arrives cleaned of supports and ready for priming and painting, though minor surface marks from the print process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied with a hobby knife or light sanding.
