Glydnos is a figure caught between worlds — and the sculpt captures that liminality with remarkable clarity. He stands in a commanding pose, one arm raised aloft, a crescent-tipped spear or arcane staff extended upward as though channelling something vast and celestial. His other hand bears a scaled, ornate shield pressed to his side. A great cloak billows around him, its tattered hem suggesting long miles walked through forgotten places. Beneath it, layered armour — intricate pauldrons, rune-marked leg guards, and a heavy decorative belt buckle bearing a star motif — speaks of a warrior who has not abandoned battle, only outgrown simple wars.

His face carries an elven sharpness — pointed ears, flowing hair swept back, and a composed expression that reads neither hostile nor gentle. His eyes look somewhere just past the horizon. Whatever he has seen out there, he has not turned back. The scenic base places him atop shattered crystal formations, the fractured terrain hinting at a place where arcane forces have already done their worst — and he walked through it anyway.

From DM Stash's Schism of the Drow release, Glydnos works beautifully as a player character — a Paladin, Warlock, or Eldritch Knight archetype with celestial or lunar flavour — or as a powerful NPC: a wandering guardian, a rival, or a quest-giver who knows far more than he is willing to say. Encounter Hook
