Description
He was once a cardinal of the Grey Conclave — now Glorkton skitters through the deep places of the world on eight bone-pale legs, his upper body still bearing the ritual markings of a hierarchy that cast him out.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Glorkton the Grey Cardinal is a drider-adjacent aberration sculpted with a deeply unsettling duality — the cold, composed face of a former religious authority perched atop a massive spider's body, all spindly chitinous limbs and predatory stillness. Ritual sigils are etched across his torso, and his clawed hands are raised mid-gesture, suggesting the remnants of arcane authority he has neither forgotten nor relinquished. The sculpt is offered in three distinct poses: one seated and commanding, one rising aggressively with claws raking outward, and one viewed from behind — revealing a grotesquely detailed spider abdomen covered in faces and writhing forms. Each pose sits on a detailed organic base littered with skulls and membrane-like webbing.
Whether you're running a Underdark conspiracy, a cult of aberrant devotion, or simply want a boss encounter that will genuinely unsettle your players, Glorkton brings a weight of corrupted history to the table. He's equally suited to a display shelf for collectors who appreciate complex, lore-laden sculpts.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a drider-style boss or cult leader for a D&D 5e or TTRPG campaign
- Are building an Underdark lair, aberrant cult, or fallen-clergy storyline
- Want a display piece that tells a story without a word of text
- Are painting collectors drawn to intricate surface detail and striking silhouettes
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to recover a stolen relic from the vaults beneath the Ashen Cathedral — but when they descend into the sub-crypts, they find the old cardinal waiting. He has been waiting for weeks. He knew they were coming. The web-wrapped bodies of three previous adventuring groups hang from the ceiling like decorations, and Glorkton speaks first, in a voice as smooth as grey silk: "You've arrived precisely on time."
Glorkton the Grey Cardinal is printed at 35mm scale. If you'd prefer 32mm scaling, send us a message and we'll adjust the print accordingly. A decorative base option is available — please include a note at checkout specifying which of the three base designs you'd like. The base (decorative or plain black) is supplied separate for easy attachment. Each piece is printed at high detail and support-marked areas are cleaned before dispatch, though minor surface marks may occasionally remain and can be dressed easily before painting.
