Glimmer Beastmaster Bust by Great Grimoire
Description
They say Glimmer's reputation arrived at the city gates three days before he did — carried on the backs of the beasts that serve him.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
This display bust captures Glimmer the Beastmaster in full commanding presence: a broad-shouldered figure crowned with a spiked diadem, his enormous braided beard swept into thick, flowing locks that dominate the chest piece. Layered pauldrons flare outward from a wide, armoured torso, and every surface rewards close inspection — rope-wrapped braids, overlapping armour plates, and the kind of weathered, lived-in detail that makes a miniature painter lean in with excitement. The back of the bust is equally considered, showing a long mane of hair cascading over a swept cloak and a large ornate clasp at the neck.
Mounted on a classical stepped plinth and pedestal, this is a piece built to hold its own on a display shelf, a painting competition table, or as the visual centrepiece of a campaign setting. Glimmer reads immediately as someone who commands respect — and creatures. Whether you use him as painting inspiration, a patron NPC, or simply a striking piece of fantasy art in miniature form, he brings real character to whatever space he occupies.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Want a detailed display bust to showcase their painting technique
- Are building a fantasy collector's shelf and want real presence in each piece
- Need a memorable NPC — a gruff, powerful Beastmaster lord, guild master, or legendary patron
- Are looking for a statement gift for a fellow hobbyist or D&D fan
Encounter Hook:
The party have been tracking poachers through the Thornwood for two sessions — but when they finally reach the culprit's stronghold, a bust of Glimmer dominates the entrance hall. The ranger recognises the face: he's not the poacher. He's the man who's been trying to stop them. The real villain had his likeness carved in mockery, and Glimmer has spent three months assuming the party were the enemy.
