Donan is a gladiator born of ruin and bred in violence. Horned helmet framing a face carved by years of hard living, he carries a heavy cleaving axe in one hand and a battered round shield — bristling with the arrows of those who failed to stop him — in the other. A beast skull hangs at his waist like a trophy or a warning, and the base beneath his feet is littered with the debris of past battles: spent arrows, broken weapons, the detritus of a life spent winning. This is a warrior who has faced down everything the Wasteland could throw at him and simply refused to fall.
From the Wasteland collection by Primal Collectibles, Donan is available in three distinct sculpts — each capturing a different moment of readiness. Pose 1 shows him surveying the field with axe lowered and shield raised, arrows lodged deep in the face of the shield. Pose 2 shifts his weight into a confident half-turn, one foot raised on broken ground, giving him a commanding silhouette from every angle. Pose 3 presents him front-on and imposing — short blade forward, shield at the ready, feet planted like a man who has decided exactly where he's going to stand. All three share the same exceptional detail: corded muscle, worn leather wrappings, scarred armour, and a base textured with the rubble of the fallen.
A strong choice for adventurers who:
- Need a Barbarian player character with serious presence at the table
- Want a scarred wasteland warlord as a memorable named NPC or rival
- Are building a gladiatorial arena encounter with a standout champion
- Collect display-scale pieces with narrative weight and exceptional sculpt quality
- Want all three poses as a complete fighter showcase on the shelf
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the Ashen Coliseum to negotiate passage through warlord territory — only to find that negotiations here take place in the pit. Donan descends the steps into the arena, arrows still jutting from his shield, and the crowd falls silent. He doesn't threaten. He doesn't speak. He simply waits to see if anyone steps forward.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale with a detailed scenic base included. The base and model are separate pieces and attach easily with superglue — the scenic base is strongly recommended, as the model is sculpted to interact with the groundwork. Miniatures arrive unpainted and ready for priming, or can be displayed as-is straight from the box.
