Description

In the scorched wastes beyond the last city's walls, they say the warlord Donan has never once retreated — and every scar across his back came from a fight he finished facing forward.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

This is the Donan bust from Primal Collectibles' Wasteland range — a large-format display piece sculpted with the kind of raw, kinetic energy that makes you feel the heat haze rising off cracked earth. Donan is built like a siege engine: enormously muscular, his chest barely covered by ragged strips of battle-worn leather, a studded belt cinching the whole brutal silhouette together. His horned helmet — riveted, multi-spiked, and absolutely not decorative — frames a weathered face set in the steady expression of someone who has already won this fight in his head. Across his chest hangs a trophy skull, bone-handled weapon in one fist and a scarred round shield in the other, two arrows embedded in it as a casual reminder of what he walked through to get here.

The rear of the bust is just as considered — battle scars carved into his back, wrappings around his forearms, and the shield arm extended with the easy confidence of a man who uses it as much for offence as defence. This is a bust designed to reward a painter at every angle, and to command attention on any display shelf it occupies.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want a large-format display bust to showcase advanced painting techniques — battle damage, skin tones, worn leather, and aged metal all on one piece
  • Are building a collection of barbarian or wasteland-themed display models
  • Need a memorable warlord, chieftain, or final boss for a post-apocalyptic or dark fantasy campaign
  • Are looking for a characterful gift for a fellow painter or D&D enthusiast

Encounter Hook:

The party has been hired to negotiate safe passage through the Ashfeld Wastes. Their contact warned them: Donan's camp takes tribute, not prisoners. When they arrive, the warlord is already standing outside — shield bristling with fresh arrows, bone trophies clacking in the desert wind — studying them the way a predator studies something it hasn't decided to eat yet. Whether this is a social encounter or a desperate last stand depends entirely on what the party says in the next thirty seconds.

Details

What's included:
One Donan display bust, printed in high-detail resin at our UK studio. The bust is supplied on a sculpted pedestal base as seen in the images. This is a display bust rather than a standard 32mm tabletop miniature — it is scaled for painting showcase and shelf display. Supplied unpainted. Supports are removed prior to dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor imperfections may occasionally occur and any residual marks are easily cleaned up before painting.

Mitz & Simz — the cats failed their Dexterity saving throw against the pile of packaging and we are all pretending it didn't happen.
