This is Gladiator 01 from Novaminis — the first in their gladiator range, and a sculpt that wastes no time making an impression. He stands broad-shouldered and confident, one arm extended with a heavy broad sword raised high in a taunting salute, the other gripping a round buckler. His spiked leather armour is studded and worn, stretched over a muscular frame that suggests years of surviving exactly this sort of moment. Spiked pauldrons, buckled boots, and a snarling expression complete a fighter who looks like he genuinely enjoys his work.
The sculpt carries real character — this isn't a generic brawler. The pose is theatrical, as if he's playing to the crowd before he dismantles the next challenger. He'd suit a human Fighter, Barbarian, or Gladiator NPC equally well, and the armour reads as just rough enough to feel lived-in without tipping into fantasy excess. Whether you paint him in arena colours or the blood-stained gear of a mercenary, he'll hold his own on the tabletop.
This is variation 01 — adventurers collecting the full gladiator set will find each sculpt offers a distinct pose and weapon loadout, making it easy to build a diverse arena roster without duplicating the same figure.
