This is Gith Warrior 01 — the first of Novaminis' Gith range — and it sets the tone with confidence. The sculpt captures the lean, angular physicality of the Githyanki: an elongated skull adorned with a wild feathered crest, deeply carved musculature across the torso, and a body etched with the kind of ceremonial scarring that speaks to years of planar warfare. The warrior stands in a wide, grounded stance, wielding a large serrated blade in a low carry position — not raised in a theatrical flourish, but held with the casual menace of someone who has done this many times before.

The detailing across the legs and shoulders is particularly striking — layered organic armour plates that appear almost grown rather than crafted, paired with feathered shoulder adornments that give the figure a faintly shamanic quality. The overall silhouette is tall, angular, and immediately recognisable as Gith. This variation (01) presents the warrior facing forward in a combat-ready stance, making it an excellent choice for front-rank positioning on the table.

Whether you're running a Spelljammer campaign, a Planescape encounter, or a githyanki incursion arc, this miniature brings the planar dread of Gith culture to your table with sculptural precision. It's equally rewarding as a painting project — the deep muscle lines, carved armour, and feathered details reward both drybrushing and careful layer work.

A good fit for adventurers who:

• Are running a Spelljammer, Planescape, or astral-themed campaign
• Need a githyanki warrior or elite soldier for a mid-tier encounter
• Want a characterful enemy mini that doubles as a striking display piece
• Are building out a full gith warband and looking for varied poses
• Enjoy painting detailed humanoid sculpts with strong silhouettes

Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to recover an artefact from an abandoned mind flayer colony ship adrift in the Astral Sea — only to discover a githyanki scouting party has already claimed it. The Warrior stands at the entrance to the ship's main hold, blade in hand, demanding the party explain their presence before he removes their heads. Negotiations may or may not be possible.
