Ginger is a wonderfully grounded village NPC sculpt from the Great Grimoire Great Folks II collection — a young peasant woman in a long dress and bonnet, cradling a plump hen in both arms with the quiet confidence of someone who has raised that bird from a chick. Her braided hair, apron bow, and simple working dress are rich with period-appropriate detail, and the gentle smile on her face tells a story before a single word of dialogue is spoken. She's the kind of character who knows every secret in the village and has no intention of sharing them for free.

For Dungeon Masters building lived-in settlements, Ginger is the sort of mini that gives a hamlet its soul. She works equally well as an innocent bystander, a surprisingly well-informed informant, or the one local who actually noticed the wagon that left at midnight. For collectors and painters, the flowing fabric of her dress and the feather-scale texture of the hen offer a genuinely enjoyable challenge.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want to populate market squares, farms, and village encounters with believable civilians
  • Need a named NPC with a warm, approachable presence — or a quietly suspicious one
  • Are building a rural fantasy setting, a Ravenloft village, or a classic countryside adventure arc
  • Enjoy painting character pieces with rich fabric and fine facial detail
  • Collect display miniatures that capture everyday fantasy life

Encounter Hook:
The party asks around the village about last night's disappearance. Every door closes — until Ginger steps out from the farmyard, hen tucked under one arm, and says quietly: "I saw which way they went. But first, you're going to help me get my rooster back from the miller."

Details

Sculpted at 35mm scale by default — if you'd prefer 32mm scaling, just drop us a message and we'll sort it for you. The base is included and comes separately so it can be attached with a small amount of glue; a decorative base option is also available — send us a note at checkout to let us know which style you'd like. Supports are removed prior to dispatch and every piece goes through our quality check, though minor surface marks can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming.
