This is pose 5 of the Gilbert range from Great Grimoire, and it may well be the most battle-hardened of the set. Gilbert stands broad and resolute, his hooded robes layered beneath heavy pauldrons and scale-worked vambraces, a solar medallion pressed against his chest. In each gauntleted fist he carries a long, rune-etched sword — not ceremonial, not decorative, but clearly well used. His white beard and the deep lines of his face tell of decades of holy war, and his expression carries the particular weight of a man who has long since made peace with violence in service of something greater.
Whether you're placing him on the table as a veteran Cleric PC, a war-scarred Paladin commander, or a morally complex NPC whose allegiances are not entirely what they seem, Gilbert brings immediate gravitas. He reads equally well as a champion of a lawful good order or a former crusader who has grown disillusioned with the institution he once served — the kind of character your players will want to unravel across a campaign.
Perfect for adventurers who:- Want a veteran cleric or paladin PC with genuine battlefield presence
- Need a compelling faction leader, inquisitor, or quest-giver NPC
- Are building a holy order, a knightly enclave, or a war-torn campaign setting
- Collect character sculpts with strong narrative character and fine detail
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a monastery to find it emptied and silent — all except one figure kneeling in the ruined nave. Gilbert does not look up when they enter. He simply says, quietly, that he knows who destroyed this place, that he knows where they've gone, and that he will not be asking them to come with him. But he supposes they might choose to anyway.

What's included:
Gilbert 05 is printed at 32mm scale (note: the original sculpt is designed at 35mm — if you would prefer strict 32mm scaling, just drop us a message and we'll adjust). Three decorative base options are available — skull flame brazier ring, arcane star engraving, or stepped plinth with ornamental finials — or a plain black base if you prefer to supply your own. Please include a note with your order stating your base preference if you select the decorative option. The base is supplied separately and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Minis are supplied unpainted and ready to prime.
