This is pose 4 of our Gilbert range from Great Grimoire's Light Warriors series. Gilbert cuts an unmistakable figure: a weathered, white-bearded warrior-priest clad in heavy plate over flowing robes, his deep hood drawn forward and his expression carved from decades of conviction. In this pose, he levels a magnificently detailed greatsword — its blade etched with knotwork and diamond inlay — in a low, controlled guard that speaks of a fighter who has seen too many battles to waste energy on theatrics. A dagger rests at his belt as a secondary reminder that this man leaves nothing to chance.
The sculpt rewards painters and collectors alike. The contrast between his rigid pauldrons and the soft fall of his robes gives the figure genuine visual weight, while the intricate blade detail and belt pouches offer plenty of opportunity for careful brushwork. Whether you're fielding him as a grizzled war cleric, a devout Eldritch Knight, or a veteran paladin nearing the end of his oath, Gilbert brings presence to any encounter.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding cleric, paladin, or fighter for their D&D 5e or TTRPG campaign
- Want a powerful named NPC — a high priest, order commander, or world-weary quest-giver
- Are building a Light Warriors warband or faction display
- Enjoy painting character-rich sculpts with layered textures and fine detail
- Are collecting the full Gilbert pose range for display or tabletop use
Encounter Hook:
The party enters a torchlit cathedral to find a lone figure standing over three slain assassins, greatsword still raised. Gilbert turns slowly, his hood shadowing eyes that have seen too much, and says only: "You're late. They already know you're here."

What's included:
One Gilbert (pose 4) miniature printed at 32mm scale. A choice of decorative base or plain base is available — three decorative base styles are shown in the product images (a skull-flanked flame plinth, a stepped dais with ornamental finials, and a geometric star-engraved disc). If you select a decorative base, please include a note with your order stating your preferred style. The base is supplied separate and can be attached with a small amount of glue. Gilbert arrives cleaned and ready for priming, painting, or straight to the table as-is.
