  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

This is pose 3 of our Gilbert range from Great Grimoire's Light Warriors series. Where the earlier poses suggest readiness, pose 3 is full commitment: Gilbert grips his enormous rune-etched greatsword with both hands, arms drawn across his body and the blade raised high — a warrior mid-stance, poised to deliver a blow that ends the encounter. His hooded cloak falls around plated pauldrons and articulated gauntlets, and his long white beard marks him as a fighter of hard-won years rather than youthful bravado. There is nothing reckless in this pose. Every line of it speaks of a man who has done this before.

On the tabletop he reads equally well as a veteran Paladin channelling divine wrath, a Fighter archetype who has outlived every commander he ever served, or a War Cleric whose faith is expressed entirely through the edge of a blade. Off the table, the sculpt's flowing robes, detailed armour panelling, and expressive face make this a rewarding piece for painters who enjoy textural variety in a single miniature.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a gravitas-heavy PC — Fighter, Paladin, or War Cleric with a story behind their eyes
  • Want an NPC veteran, a faction champion, or a fallen knight who has found a second cause
  • Are building a Light Warriors warband or collecting all three Gilbert poses
  • Enjoy a miniature with strong painting potential across metal, cloth, and skin

Encounter Hook:
The party hears him before they see him — a rhythmic scrape of steel on stone as an aged warrior sharpens a blade the size of a door. He does not look up. "The cult moves at dawn," he says flatly. "I know because I trained their leader. You have until first light to decide whether you're with me or in my way."

Gilbert 03 is printed at 32mm scale. Three decorative base styles are available — if you select the decorative base option, please include a note at checkout specifying which you'd prefer: the skull-flanked flame brazier ring, the geometric star-etched disc, or the stepped stone plinth with ornamental spires and a sigil plaque. A plain base is also available. Bases are supplied separate for easy attachment. Every piece is quality-checked before dispatch.
