This is pose 2 of the Gilbert range from Great Grimoire's Light Warriors collection. Where other clerics tend their flocks from the safety of a temple, Gilbert has chosen the road — and it shows. Clad in heavy plate over layered robes, his hood drawn low over a weathered face and long white beard, he carries a battered tome in one hand and a rune-etched greatsword in the other. The contrast tells the whole story: a man of scripture who has seen enough of the world to know that prayer alone won't hold back the dark.

The sculpt rewards close attention. The greatsword is engraved with interlaced knotwork along the fuller; the pauldrons are angular and imposing; the robes beneath hang in natural folds. Front and back views are both worth examining — the rear of the model shows chainmail gauntlets, layered robe hems, and the pommel of the sword at his hip. He sits equally well on a battlefield hex or a display shelf.

He closes the tome, stands slowly, and says: "I've been waiting. Not for you specifically — but someone was always going to come." He has a task. He doesn't expect to survive it. He's going anyway.

Gilbert 02 is printed at 32mm scale. Three thematic decorative base options are available — please include a note with your order indicating your preferred style (flame skull ring, geometric star inlay, or raised plinth with ornamental finials). Bases are supplied separately and attach easily. A plain black base is included as standard if no decorative option is selected. Each miniature is printed and quality checked before dispatch; minor support marks are possible and can be tidied up before priming.
