Description

It doesn't announce itself with a roar or a hiss — it announces itself with a sound that isn't quite language, rising from somewhere below the dungeon floor, and by the time you understand what you're hearing, it's already too late.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the second sculpt in our Gibbering Mouther range from Novaminis, and where the first pose conveys mass and menace, this one leans into something more unsettling — a writhing, reaching quality, as though the creature is mid-surge, its body a churning knot of tentacles, mismatched eyes, and wide-open, teeth-lined maws. The sculpt captures the Gibbering Mouther at its most D&D-faithful: an Aberration with no symmetry, no logic, and no mercy. Multiple mouths are caught mid-gibber across the mass of the body, each one distinct in size and angle, while pseudopod-like limbs curl outward and upward in different directions. The texture across the entire model — pocked, fleshy, knobbly — rewards careful painting and gives washes and drybrushing plenty to work with.

Whether you're dropping this into an Underdark corridor to unsettle a well-prepared party, using it as the centrepiece of a Far Realm incursion, or simply adding it to a display shelf of truly unsettling creatures, this sculpt has the presence to earn its place.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark or Far Realm encounters in D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
  • Want a gibbering mouther with visual variety alongside the first pose
  • Love painting heavily textured aberration miniatures
  • Collect horror-adjacent fantasy creatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a missing scouting party for two sessions. They find the scouts' equipment scattered across a flooded chamber — armour dented inward, weapons dropped mid-draw. From the far end of the room comes a low, unintelligible babble in at least four different voices, none of them quite the same as any of the missing scouts, but close enough that two party members must make a Wisdom saving throw to act on their first turn.
