The Wasp Queen is no ordinary giant insect encounter. This is a boss-tier creature, a sovereign of the hive given terrifying, half-humanoid form. Her elongated chitinous torso, segmented abdomen, and four raking limbs speak to something older and more cunning than a simple beast — something that commands. Her great veined wings spread wide in dominance, her compound-eyed gaze fixed on whatever foolish adventurer has stumbled into her territory. The sculpt captures her at the apex of her authority, rising over a base piled with skulls and jagged stone spires — the remains of those who came before your party.

Encounter Hook:
The village's missing children were taken three weeks ago. Following a trail of paralysed deer and hollow wasp husks deep into the rotwood, the party discovers a cathedral of hexagonal cells built into the clifface — and at its entrance, wings spread wide over a throne of skulls, the Wasp Queen waits. She already knew they were coming.

Scaled at 32mm, this miniature is a larger display-scale piece that arrives unpainted and ready for priming. The model and its detailed scenic base — featuring skulls, bone fragments, and erupting stone spires — are separate pieces, designed to be attached with glue. The base is an integral part of the sculpt and the model is designed to interact with it, so it is best displayed and used with the base attached rather than a plain alternative. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present but are easily addressed before painting.
